Saved views end the morning filter rebuild
Open work orders, high priority only, sorted by the date they are due. That is three clicks before you have read a single line, repeated on every list you open. Save the combination once and it comes back on its own.
What a saved view holds
Every filter you have applied to the list (status, priority, type, category), the column you sorted on and its direction, and whatever is in the search box. Name it and it comes back in one click.
Which columns you have hidden, your page size and the page you were on are not part of it. Those stay with the session and reset.
One default per list
Mark a view as the default and that list opens with it applied on first load, so the morning starts on the right rows rather than on everything you own.
A list holds one default at a time. Setting a new one replaces the old, and the old view stays in the list to switch back to.
On every list you work from
Assets, work orders, inspections, issues, tasks, drivers, vendors, parts, expenses, documents, licences and recalls all carry saved views.
So do service schedules, service tasks, service kits, site locations, diagnostics, purchase orders, warranties and fuel logs.
Saved views are personal. Yours are stored against your own login, so there is no way to push one out to the rest of the team yet. Account-wide sharing is on the roadmap, and until it lands the structure everybody shares is the grouping above.
