Track smaller things, without a GPS tracker on each one

Extend visibility beyond vehicles. Driver identification, portable tool tracking, cargo-condition monitoring and cargo-tilt alerts, all running off small tags that pair with your Yipii GPS devices.

Four tag types

One tracker, many eyes

Different problems deserve different sensors. Pick the one that matches the asset.

iButton driver tags

Contact-based driver ID tags. Waterproof, shockproof, and rated for years of use with no battery.

Bluetooth beacons

Passive BLE tags detected up to 10 metres from a tracker. 1 to 2 year battery life with replaceable cells.

Eye sensors

Temperature and humidity monitoring for refrigerated cargo and cold chain compliance. Detection up to 5 metres.

Smart sensors

Environmental readings plus magnetic field and orientation (pitch and roll). Door-open and cargo-tilt detection.

Driver ID

Attribute every trip to the right person, automatically

iButton tags give each driver a contact-based ID. When a driver touches their tag to the reader, Yipii knows who is behind the wheel for every trip. Driver scoring, behaviour reports, and trip logs all update without anyone having to log in or select a name.

  • Contact-based reader, no power needed
  • Waterproof, shockproof, years of battery-free use
  • Trips and scoring attributed per driver
  • Works alongside Yipii Driver Scoring

Portable assets

Tools that roam between vehicles still stay tracked

Stick a Bluetooth beacon on a generator, a piece of equipment, or a trailer and its location updates whenever it passes near any Yipii tracker. No dedicated GPS hardware, no battery anxiety, no monthly SIM cost for each item.

  • Tag tools, trailers and containers
  • Detected up to 10m from any Yipii tracker
  • 1 to 2 year battery with user-replaceable cells
  • Location history built from every detection

Environmental

Protect cold chain cargo with the sensor attached to it

Eye sensors log temperature and humidity for the fridge, the trailer, or the cabin. Smart sensors add magnetic and orientation detection so you know when a door opens or a load tips. Readings sync through the nearest tracker and feed the same alerting and reporting pipeline as every other data point.

  • Temperature and humidity with audit-ready logs
  • Door open and cargo tilt events from Smart sensors
  • HACCP, FDA and GDP compliance support
  • Threshold alerts via email, SMS or WhatsApp

Frequently asked

Beacons and tags work for tools, containers, trailers, refrigerated cargo, driver identification, and other non-powered items that travel with or alongside your vehicles. iButton handles driver ID, Bluetooth beacons cover portable tool tracking, Eye sensors monitor environmental conditions, and Smart sensors add orientation and magnetic-field detection for door and tilt events.

No. iButton tags are passive and battery-free, built to last years of daily use. Bluetooth beacons and Eye sensors run on replaceable cells with 1 to 2 year battery life. None of them require wiring, external power, or regular maintenance windows.

Bluetooth beacons and sensors are detected when they come within range (10 metres for standard beacons, 5 metres for Eye sensors) of a Yipii GPS tracker. The tracker scans for nearby tags every 10 to 60 seconds and logs each detection with a timestamp and position. iButton tags are detected through physical contact with a reader wired to the tracker.

Detection events flow into the same platform as GPS tracking. Tags show up in the asset sidebar, on the live map when near a tracker, and in reports (Environment and Portable report types specifically cover beacon activity). Driver ID tags also attribute trips to the correct person automatically, updating driver scoring and behaviour reports.
