AI automation and technology consulting from the team behind Yipii
We design and build AI automations and new software products for businesses of any size or sector, and lead technology and product work inside them when that is what you need.
What we do
Most of our work starts with AI: automating the jobs a business already does, or building a new product around it. Everything else on this list is work we have each done for years, at the companies named above.
AI & automation
We find the two or three jobs in your business where AI saves the most time, build the automation in the tools you already use, and train your team to run it.
How we approach AI automationProduct development
You have an idea for a product, often an AI one, and the industry knowledge behind it. We act as your technical partner: we shape it, build it, take it to market with you and keep improving it once customers use it.
How we build and launch productsOperations and processes
Customer onboarding, support, payments and releases. We map where customers and staff wait, then fix the biggest delays first with a process change, an automation, a better tool or a clear owner.
How we fix operations- Fractional CTO or CPO
- One of us leads technology or product inside your team a few days a week, for as long as it is useful, and hands over to a permanent hire when you have one.
- Technology due diligence
- An assessment of the technology, the team and the risks behind a company you plan to invest in or buy.
- Roadmap and architecture
- What to build, in which order, and whether the system underneath will carry it.
- Advice for non-technical leaders
- A technical second opinion for founders and CEOs deciding where to spend on technology, and help talking to the people who build it.
How working with us runs
- Intro call30 minutes, freeYou tell us what is going on and we decide together whether we can help.
- Written proposalWithin three working daysTwo pages at most: what we would focus on, what you would have at the end, our time and the cost.
- The planBefore anything is built or changedWe work out exactly what to do and write it down. For a product that is the specification and the scope of the first version, for an automation the jobs, tools and checks involved, and for operations a map of how the work runs today. If you decide to stop there, you keep the plan.
- The workFor the agreed scope, or month to monthWe build, set up or lead the work with your team in small steps you can see as we go, and review progress against the plan with you regularly.
- Handover or ongoing supportWhen the agreed scope is doneYour team takes over, with everything written down and anything we built in your name. Or we stay on to maintain it, fix what breaks and keep improving it, for a monthly fee.
Projects have a fixed price agreed before we start. Ongoing work is a fixed monthly fee, month to month with 30 days' notice.
About us
Yipii started as our fleet tracking and IoT business in Malta, and it still is. Consulting is the other half of what we do: the same two people, working with businesses in any sector on AI, automation, technology and product.
We have worked together since 2018, at Run It Once, Red Acre and FunderPro, mostly in fintech, trading and online gaming. Chris works from Malta and Tim from Valencia, and we work with teams anywhere.
Chris BartoloTechnology
Founded Dazzle Panel in 2008, the company that became Yipii. CTO at Red Acre, leading 110 engineers across several products, and before that at Run It Once through its acquisition by Rush Street Interactive.
