Track every flight. Monitor every payload.

GPS tracking and cold-chain compliance for commercial drone fleets. Mount it, pair it with certified temperature sensors, and monitor every flight from the Yipii platform.

GPS tracker and cold-chain sensor for commercial delivery drones.

Why add a separate tracker to a drone?

Commercial drones have built-in navigation and GPS. But a separate, independent tracking device gives operators and their clients something the onboard system can't: third-party visibility, compliance-grade sensor data, and a single platform that covers drones alongside ground vehicles and marine assets.

Independent position data.

A standalone tracker reports directly to Yipii, separate from the drone's own flight system. If the onboard GPS fails, you still know where the aircraft is. If the drone is lost or diverted, you have an independent record.

Cold-chain compliance, airborne.

Pair the tracker with a certified EN12830 temperature sensor and Yipii logs the cargo temperature continuously throughout the flight. For medical payloads like tissue samples and pharmaceuticals, this creates the documented evidence compliance requires.

One platform for every asset.

Drones, vans, boats, all tracked from the same Yipii dashboard. No separate drone-tracking portal, no extra login. Fleet-wide visibility regardless of how the asset moves.

Automated reporting.

Every flight generates a trip record with route, duration, speed, and (where sensors are paired) a temperature log. Export to PDF, Excel, or CSV for compliance documentation without manual data entry.

Teltonika FTC887 GPS tracker for commercial drone fleets.

The drone tracker

We mount the Teltonika FTC887, a next-generation 4G LTE tracker from Teltonika's “Fast & Easy” range. It connects with two wires (positive and negative) to the drone's power supply, and at 118g and 118 x 48 x 18.5mm, it's compact and light enough to integrate into a commercial drone airframe without meaningfully affecting payload capacity or flight characteristics.

The FTC887 is the only device in our range that combines IP69K-rated rugged protection with Bluetooth 5.4 LE. That Bluetooth connectivity is what makes it the right choice for drone operations: it pairs directly with our EYE Sensor EN12830 (a certified cold-chain temperature sensor), giving you continuous, compliance-grade temperature monitoring of the cargo bay throughout every flight.

Positioning uses GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou across 75 satellite channels, with sub-2-metre accuracy. The device also includes a gyroscope alongside the accelerometer, enabling Dead Reckoning: if satellite signal is temporarily lost (dense urban flyovers, signal-congested airspace), the device continues calculating position from its own motion sensors and corrects automatically when GNSS returns.

Weight & size

118g, 118 x 48 x 18.5mm. Compact enough for airframe integration on commercial drones.

Sensors

Bluetooth 5.4 LE. Pairs with EN12830-certified temperature sensors for cold-chain compliance logging.

Positioning

Multi-constellation GNSS with Dead Reckoning. Maintains position estimates even during brief satellite signal loss.

About Teltonika. Teltonika Telematics is one of the world's largest manufacturers of GPS tracking and IoT devices, headquartered in Lithuania and shipping to over 180 countries. Yipii's devices are European-made, fully certified, and backed by Teltonika's global support infrastructure.

Cold-chain monitoring in the air

Transporting tissue samples, blood products, and pharmaceuticals by drone means maintaining temperature integrity from takeoff to handover. Regulations require documented proof that the cargo stayed within the required temperature range throughout transit, not just at departure and arrival.

The FTC887 pairs with our EYE Sensor EN12830, a Bluetooth temperature sensor certified to EN12830, the European standard for temperature recording instruments used in the transport and storage of temperature-sensitive goods. The sensor sits inside the cargo compartment and transmits readings to the tracker throughout the flight. Yipii logs every reading and makes the full temperature history available in the platform for export, audit, and compliance reporting.

Food-grade casing, compliant with EU and FDA regulations. Internal memory retains a complete temperature history on the device itself, providing a backup record even if connectivity is interrupted during flight.

How we work with drone operators

Every drone integration starts with a conversation about your airframe, your payload, and your operating environment. We work with you to determine the right mounting position, power connection, and sensor placement before any hardware goes onto the aircraft.

We run integration trials with your specific drone before going live. This includes verifying GPS accuracy during flight, confirming sensor connectivity and data transmission, and ensuring the tracker operates as expected alongside the drone's own avionics and navigation systems.

Once validated, every flight is tracked and logged automatically. No pilot interaction with the tracker is needed. The device powers on with the drone, records continuously, and syncs to Yipii when connectivity is available.

Paired with Yipii, it's a complete system

Every flight is a trip in Yipii: departure point, route, arrival, duration, speed profile, and (where sensors are fitted) a full temperature log. Reports can be scheduled and exported automatically for compliance filing.

The same multi-network SIM approach used across our land and marine devices ensures the tracker stays connected wherever there's cellular coverage. Data recorded during flight syncs to Yipii on landing or when coverage returns.

If you also track ground vehicles or boats, everything appears on the same dashboard. One platform, one login, one operational view, whether the asset has wheels, a hull, or a propeller.
